The ROC Midden Nederland is one of the biggest vocational education and training centres of the Netherlands with places for some 26.000 students and 2.200 employees in the fields of tourism, economy, art and media, technology. According to the level, the apprenticeship lasts up to 4 years. It is performed either full- or part-time. All apprenticeship contains practical phases within companies. The ROC cooperates with approx. 800 companies in the region. As international relations are of high priority ROC offers its students practical trainings abroad, founded by LL and other programs. Also mobility programmes for teachers are offered. In addition Leonardo Pilot Projects are of great importance. The project Placement support, e. g. (www.placementsupport.com) was granted with the Helsinki Quality Award. ROC was partner of the HWK Münster within the Leonardo da Vinci Mobility Project for persons responsible for VET.
